YOYouLive
Look up from your notes.
Afterword listens to your calls on Zoom, Meet and Teams, then writes the summary, the decisions and who owes what in the minute after you hang up. Nothing joins the call.
Free for 10 meetings a month. No card, no bot.
02:14The product
Watch a meeting turn into notes.
Not a screen recording. These are working pieces of the app, replaying a 47-minute go/no-go on annual pricing as Afterword heard it.
Notes in your format. Summary, decisions and action items with owners, written the moment the call ends.
No bot in the call. Afterword hears what your computer hears. Nobody admits “Notetaker (3)”.
One shortcut, any meeting. For hallway chats and calls that never made the calendar.
Ask every meeting you’ve had. Answers point to the exact moment, so you can hear it said.
Who talked, and how much. Handy for interviews, one-on-ones and the meeting you sat through silent.
Follow-ups that sound like you. Drafted from your last 200 sent emails, waiting before you’ve closed the tab.
11:40How it works
Three things happen. You do one of them.
-
0100:00 · The call starts
Join the call like you always do.
Afterword sees the meeting on your calendar and starts listening when you join. It records the audio your computer already plays, so there’s no bot in the participant list and nobody has to let one in from the waiting room.
-
0247:12 · The call ends
Hang up. The notes are already there.
About forty seconds later you have a summary, the decisions and every action item with an owner and a date, laid out in your team’s template. Every line links back to the moment it was said.
-
0347:58 · The follow-up goes out
Read it, change a word, press send.
Afterword drafts the follow-up in your voice and files the tasks where your team already works, owners assigned. Most people send it before they’ve left the room.
16:05From a customer
“I haven’t typed a meeting note since March. My follow-ups now go out before the client has found their pen.”

Your meetings are nobody’s training data.
People say things in meetings they’d never put in writing. So the defaults are strict, the switches belong to you, and the promises are in the contract, not only the policy page.
- 01
No training on your meetings.
Not by us and not by the model providers we use. It’s written into every contract.
- 02
Audio is deleted by default.
Gone the moment the transcript is written. Admins can choose to keep it for 7 or 30 days.
- 03
Encrypted, with keys per workspace.
TLS 1.3 on the way in, AES-256 at rest, and a separate key for every company.
- 04
Sensitive numbers are masked.
Card numbers, Social Security numbers and passwords are redacted before anything is stored.
- 05
Consent is built in.
A short notice in the meeting chat, switched on by default wherever everyone has to agree to recording.
- 06
Delete means delete.
Remove a meeting and it’s gone from our servers within the hour, not after a 30-day grace period.

40:48Questions
Asked before the first call.
Still unsure? Write to [email protected] and a person on our team will answer, usually the same day.
Does a bot join my meetings?
No. Afterword runs on your computer or phone and records the audio your device already hears. Nobody sees a notetaker tile, and nobody has to let anything in from a waiting room.
Do the other people know they’re being recorded?
They should, and Afterword helps. It can post a short notice in the meeting chat when it starts, and does so by default wherever the law needs everyone’s consent. Saying it out loud works too, and most of our customers prefer it.
How accurate is the transcript?
On our test set of 1,900 real, messy meetings, English word error rate is 6.2% and speakers are labeled correctly 94% of the time. Names and jargon get better as you correct them, because Afterword learns your team’s vocabulary.
What happens to the audio?
By default it’s deleted as soon as the transcript is written. On Business, admins can keep it for 7 or 30 days. Transcripts and notes stay until you delete them, and deleting is immediate.
Does it work for in-person meetings?
Yes. Open the iPhone app, or press ⌘⇧R on your laptop, and leave it on the table. It works offline and catches up when you’re back on Wi-Fi.
Can I change what the notes look like?
Pick one of 14 templates (sales call, one-on-one, interview, standup, board meeting) or write your own in plain English, like “lead with risks, then decisions, five bullets at most.”
