07Good questions
Before you hit the road.
Is Daydrift all ages?
Yes. Kids 10 and under get in free with a ticketed adult. You’ll need to be 18 to camp without a parent or guardian, and the Coyote Disco is 21 and over after 10 pm.
How hot does it get?
Late April in Joshua Tree usually means highs around 84°F and lows near 49°F. The temperature drops about 30 degrees after sunset, so bring a hat for the day and a real jacket for the night.
Can I bring water?
Bring an empty refillable bottle or a hydration pack up to two liters. There are fourteen free refill stations across the site and every one of them is cold.
Is it cashless?
Yes. Link a card to your wristband when you pick it up, or top up at any info tent. Any balance you don’t spend comes back to you by May 7.
Can I leave and come back?
3-Day pass holders can re-enter until 10 pm each night. Campers can come and go from their camp at any hour.
What about accessibility?
Every stage has a raised accessible viewing platform, there’s an accessible campground with flush restrooms and charging, and golf-cart rides run across the lakebed all day. Write to [email protected] and we’ll plan your weekend with you.
What if I can’t make it?
Passes are transferable through our official resale until April 1. Resale is face value only, with no markup and no surprise fees.
What happens if the wind picks up?
We watch the weather all weekend. If gusts top 45 mph we pause the stages and post updates on the screens beside every stage and in the app, then pick up where we left off.
