25% off everything in the shop from Friday to Monday, then twelve paper doors of daily deals until December 8.

No codes, no countdown clocks, no “only two left.” Sale prices show on their own. If a scent sells through we’ll say so plainly on its page and pour more by Dec 12, the way we do every year.

Do the door deals stack with 25% off?

Yes, through Cyber Monday. Door 2’s free wick trimmer, for example, comes with two tumblers that are already 25% off. Bundles are the exception: their prices already include the sale.

What if they’d rather have a different scent?

Gifts can be swapped or returned unburned until January 15, with a gift receipt or just the name on the order. We’ll refund you, not them, unless you tell us otherwise.

Will a candle survive a Montana porch in December?

It will. Soy wax can frost in the cold, a pale bloom on the top or sides. It’s cosmetic, and it burns exactly the same. Let it sit at room temperature for an hour before the first light.

Visit the pour room

Come in from the cold.

The shop is in the front, the pour table is in the back, and there’s a sofa in between where you can sit and smell things for as long as you like. On Black Friday we open at 8 with hot cider until it runs out.

“I started pouring in my kitchen the winter we moved here, when it got dark at 4:30 and stayed dark. Seven winters later we pour forty-eight at a time, and I still burn the first one from every batch myself.”

Elsie Tollefson, founder & head pourer
