Sale No. 13Fri Nov 27 – Mon Nov 30, 2026Cut & sewn on Dickerson Pike since 2014

Black Friday 30% off.No countdown.

A cuffed leg of dark raw selvedge denim over a black engineer boot, the white selvedge edge with a red thread showing on the turn-up.

The Straight, 33 × 34Cuffed once. That white edge with one red thread is the selvedge. We named the shop after it.

We make about 3,600 pieces a year in a two-room shop in East Nashville. Once a year, whatever's left is 30% off for four days. Below is exactly what's left, size by size, counted by hand last night.

[01] The deal, in one line

Up to 30% off everything we have left. Fri Nov 27 to Mon Nov 30. No code.

"Up to" usually means "mostly ten." So we crossed it out. Every pair and jacket, in the shop and online, is exactly 30% off the price it's been since March. The Straight is $133, not "from $133."

[02] What's left

Four fits. 122 pieces. Real counts.

Counted by hand Thursday Nov 26 at 6 PM, and recounted every morning at 9 during the sale. If a number says 3, there are 3.

A pair of dark raw selvedge jeans laid flat on a tile floor with a tan leather belt and both cuffs turned up.
Shown new, 32 × 36. Raw means unwashed: it starts stiff, dark and a little shiny, and fades to the way you sit.

[03] How to find your size

Measure a pair you already love.

Tag sizes lie, ours included, because raw denim moves. A tape measure doesn't. Lay your best-fitting jeans or jacket flat, measure one line, and we'll tell you the size in each fit and how many are left.

          A · WAIST, FLAT B · FRONT RISE C · THIGH D · KNEE E · OPENING A · PIT TO PIT B · LENGTH C · SLEEVE

          • The Straight3216¼" flat, gives about ½" with wear · 3 left
          • The Taper32Same waist, slimmer leg · 11 left
          1. Buy it snugRaw denim gives about an inch around the waist in the first month. It should button with a little effort and feel close in the seat.
          2. Don't worry about lengthEvery leg comes 36 inches and unhemmed. We chain-stitch your hem free in the shop while you wait, about 20 minutes, or send us your inseam with the order.
          3. It won't shrink a sizeOur cloth is sanforized, so a cold soak shrinks it 1 to 3 percent in length, not a size. Soak before hemming if you plan to wash it.
          4. Between jacket sizes?Take the smaller Trucker and the larger Rancher. The blanket lining in the Rancher takes up about half an inch across the chest.

          Still unsure? Ask a person.

Send the size on the tag of your best pair and its flat waist. Odessa or Cleve answers, usually the same day, even this weekend.

[04] Why we only do one sale a year

Full price all year. Then once, all of it.

361Days a year at full price
4Days at 30% off. These ones.

We cut every fit in batches of 300, once in spring and once in late summer. By November, what's left is either good cloth or a size we guessed wrong. We'd rather it go home with you than sit on a shelf another year.

So once a year we take 30% off all of it and then stop. No spring sale, no friends-and-family code, no email every Tuesday. If you bought in July, you paid a fair price. If you waited for November, you take your chances on sizes. That's the trade.

What you won't find on this page

          • A countdown clock

The sale ends Monday at 11:59 PM Central. That's the whole warning.

          • "Only 2 left!"

Unless there are only 2 left. Every count above was made by hand.

          • An October price bump

Our prices haven't moved since March. 30% off is 30% off the real price.

          • A pop-up asking for your email

There's one form, at the bottom. It sends one email a year.

          [05] Repairs for life

We fix what we make. For as long as you wear it.

Every piece we've made since 2014, bought at full price, on sale or secondhand. Sale or no sale, this part doesn't change.

          [07] Questions

          The ones we actually get.

If yours isn't here, call the shop. A person picks up from 11 to 7, and all weekend during the sale.

          Hours and address
Q1Can I exchange something I bought on sale?

Yes. 60 days, same as always. Unhemmed and unwashed, swap it for any size or fit we still have. Refunds are 30 days. Hemmed jeans can't be exchanged, which is why we'll measure twice with you first.

Q2Will you hold a size for me?

Not during the sale, it wouldn't be fair to the person standing at the counter. Call and we'll tell you the exact count right then.

Q3When will my online order ship?

Everything ordered Friday to Monday ships from the shop by Thursday Dec 3. Free US shipping over $100, tracked. Add your inseam at checkout and it ships hemmed.

Q4Are sale pieces covered by free repairs?

Yes, for life, like everything we've ever made. Sale or no sale, secondhand or new.

          Q5Do you do gift receipts?

Yes. Ask at the counter or tick the box online. Gift exchanges run until January 31.

Q6Is there a Cyber Monday deal too?

Monday is the same sale, online only, ending at 11:59 PM Central. After that, nothing until next November.

Q7How do I wash raw denim?

As late as you can stand, we say three months. Inside out, cold water, a little gentle soap, hang it dry. It will fade where you bend, which is the point.
